Indian Porn Star has become an erotic writer

“Passionate stories of the most desirable woman in India” -these words begins appearing on the smartphone promotional video with a smiling woman in a bright red dress.

The author of the book – a former pornstar, who became an actress in bollywood. Her name is Kaur Karanjit, although in the USA the porn industry she was known as Sunny Leone.

In April, based in new Delhi and NCR publishing Juggernaut published a “Sweet dreams” – a collection of 12 erotic short stories written by Sunny Leone.

“I’ve never written anything before. But I got an offer from publishers, and I decided to try,” she says.

According to Leon, she doesn’t remember if she read books as a child. She grew up in Canada, a family of Sikh immigrants from Punjab. As a child, she was fond of sports and photography.

The first erotic book that she read was “Fifty shades of grey”. She read it on the Kindle. “I remember reading it and thinking,’ It’s very strong, ‘ and I giggled,” she says.

Indian writers and experts say that Leon’s erotic work has entered the market at a very suitable moment.

The author of the erotic works of Anant Padmanabhan says that “Fifty shades of grey” has had on India the same effect as “Harry Potter” to writers of the fantasy genre.

“In India, there is a huge demand for erotic literature, despite the fact that moral behavior is welcomed in society, and Leon’s stories will further excite the public,” he says.

Publisher Juggernaut Chiki Sarkar says that ” erotica is one of the main genres for e-books around the world, and we decided that publishing it in smartphone format would be a good idea.”

Moreover, Leone has a huge number of fans across India and on social networks.

“Leone has about 22 million followers on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. Among them there are many women who enthusiastically welcome the beginning of her literary career,” Sarkar says.

Sunny Leone is a porn star, and in Google’s search her name is entered more often than any other in India.

Viewers in India first saw Leone in 2011, when she took part in one of the reality TV shows.

On a show called “Big boss” (Big Boss) – the Indian version of Celebrity Big Brother – Leone came as a surprise, which brought her to the Indian public, which until then knew about her is that she is an American porn star of Indian origin.
