Indian actresses at 2017 Cannes Film Festival

The opening of the 70th world-famous Cannes Film Festival on the French Riviera became one of the brightest spots of spring 2017. The oldest and the most respected film festival officially founded in 1946 was held from 17th to 28 May at the famous convention center Palais des Festivals et des Congrès (Palace of Festivals and Conferences).

Every year a jury of experts defines the best films, actors, and producers giving them the prestigious awards. The 70th Cannes Film Festival was remembered not only for its impressive contest but also for a brilliant fashion show. Among the luxuriant superstars and models showed off in front of the numerous cameras were also charming representatives of the Indian superlative beauty.

The appearance of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Sonam Kapoor as the long-time L’Oreal Paris brand models is always occurrence for the audience. But this year Deepika Padukone who played the title role in Padmavati shared with them the honor to present the world-renowned French cosmetics company.
