Short Kangana Ranaut biography

Kangana Ranaut was born on 23 March 1986 in Himachal Pradesh. After failing a unit test in Chemistry, Kangana questioned her career prospect of preparing for the All India Pre-Medical Test and instead, relocated to Mumbai to pursue a career in film and joined a four-month acting course in a drama school. In 2006, Kangana made her debut with the movie Gangster and earned critical acclaim and the Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut.
